Power of Photos

I remembered that my friend, who is a photography fanatic, once showed me a site where the best press photos were judged and displayed. I realised that the site is the same host to the competition that Jodi Bieber's photo won. From natural disasters, famous personalities, sporting achievements to wildlife, symbolism or ironical moments, the most amazing photos from hundreds of nationalities are posted. I've included some of my favourites below - although i found it difficult to reign myself in. The amount of power, raw emotion and awe that these pictures are able to evoke is astounding, and as worthy of contemplation as any great work of art.
