Some upcoming events worth paying attention to and that are taking place locally, include the Dylan Moran Show on Tuesday night (which I will write a short review about) and the Brisbane Writers Festival in the September and October months. Authors such as Rob Mundle, who wrote the best-selling biography Bligh, Nick Earls with his latest release The Fix, beloved fantasy writer for young adults, Emily Rodda, veteran crime writer Alexander McCall Smith, weekend review recent headliner, Jonathan Franzen and fiction writer Kate Moreton. Angus and Robertson at Victoria Point will also be hosting authors such as Nick Earls, Darren Lockyer, Ethan Thorpe and Peter Watt in the upcoming months and some of  the writers who are attending the writing festival, have already hosting signings in our store, includingTrent Jamieson, Katherine Howell, Kay Danes, Marianne de Pierres and Kathryn Fox.
