Labour Party in Peril

Following the allegations against Labour MP Craig Thompson concerning his payment of prostitutes with a union credit card, the Labour party is not just in hot water, but boiling. The Labour Party is funding Thompson's legal defence as they cannot lost his seat in parliament or they risk being outed altogether where Tony Abbott is poised to assume power following a bye-election. Thompson claims that his signature on the receipt was forged but whether or not the allegations are true, any whiff of a scandal is extremely damaging. It is a lot easier to destroy a reputation than it is to rebuild it. For more information, follow the included link http://www.crikey.com.au/2011/08/19/labor-mp-in-prostitute-scandal/
